CS2 skins by color

Skinset is a free loadout builder for Counter-Strike 2. You pick a color and a budget, and it selects a knife, gloves and weapons so the whole inventory looks like one set. The database holds 500+ skins with their main colors and price tiers — from budget picks for a few dollars to premium knives and gloves.

How to build a CS2 loadout in one palette

A great inventory is built on combination, not on the most expensive skins. One accent color on the knife, gloves and main weapons (AK-47, M4, AWP) makes a set recognizable, and pistols can match or contrast. Skinset compares skin shades with your palette and rates the match: “spot on”, “great”, “close”.

A skin loadout for any budget

Enter one total for the whole inventory and the budget is split across slots automatically: a base set of weapons first, then a knife and gloves, then upgrades to pricier options. Build a cheap CS2 loadout under $50, a balanced one for $500, or a top-tier set with a Karambit Doppler and Sport Gloves.

Where to buy the skins

Every item has “Buy on DMarket” and “Buy on Avan.market” buttons. The link opens the marketplace search for that skin, with current price, wear and float. Skinset doesn't sell skins and has nothing to do with case sites: only established fixed-price marketplaces.

A Great-Looking CS2 Inventory for $55: Three Sets That Don't Look Cheap

$55 is the kind of budget most players blow on a single AK skin before forgetting about everything else. Spread that money across six guns in one color, though, and your inventory looks put-together — and pricier than it really is. All three sets below currently cost $35–45.

A Great-Looking CS2 Inventory for $55: Three Sets That Don't Look Cheap

The golden rule of a budget set

At $55 there's no room for a knife or gloves: the cheapest knives start at around $40, gloves at around $28, and either one eats your whole budget. So there's one strategy that works: one color across all six guns. When your AK-47, M4, AWP and three pistols share a palette, the eye reads them as a set, and nobody's counting what each one cost.

Put most of the money into the AK-47 and AWP: they're on screen the most. Pistols can be had for next to nothing.

Set 3. Green — around $38

There are fewer green skins, but you rarely see them on other players — so the set stands out.

  • AK-47 | Green Laminate — $13.4
  • M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S — $0.4
  • AWP | Phobos — $1.8
  • Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike — $0.3
  • USP-S | Caiman — $20.6, the priciest pistol in the set, but a green USP-S is pretty much irreplaceable

How not to overpay

  • Float matters more than rarity. On budget skins, the gap between Field-Tested and Well-Worn is often 30–40% of the price, while the in-game difference is barely noticeable. The exception is skins with big, light-colored designs (Redline, Asiimov): there, wear shows.
  • Compare marketplaces. The same skin can differ by 10–20% between DMarket and Avan.market. In the builder, every item has two buttons — check both.
  • Skip the stickers. At this budget they only add to the price without adding to the look.

What to buy next

When you've got another $35–55 to spend, don't swap out your guns — add gloves: they're on screen every round. The cheapest color-matched gloves: green Hydra Gloves | Emerald ($27.6), red Driver Gloves | Rezan the Red ($50), purple-pink Broken Fang Gloves | Needle Point ($39.7).

Before you buy

Check wear and float

The same skin in Factory New and Battle-Scarred looks different and the price differs several times over. Filter by wear in the marketplace search, and check float and screenshots on expensive items.

Steam trade hold

After buying on a third-party marketplace the item arrives via a Steam trade. You need the mobile authenticator enabled, otherwise there may be a hold of up to a week.

No cases or gambling

Skinset doesn't promote case-opening or betting sites. Only marketplaces where you buy a specific item at a fixed price.
