CS2 skins by color

Skinset is a free loadout builder for Counter-Strike 2. You pick a color and a budget, and it selects a knife, gloves and weapons so the whole inventory looks like one set. The database holds 500+ skins with their main colors and price tiers — from budget picks for a few dollars to premium knives and gloves.

How to build a CS2 loadout in one palette

A great inventory is built on combination, not on the most expensive skins. One accent color on the knife, gloves and main weapons (AK-47, M4, AWP) makes a set recognizable, and pistols can match or contrast. Skinset compares skin shades with your palette and rates the match: “spot on”, “great”, “close”.

A skin loadout for any budget

Enter one total for the whole inventory and the budget is split across slots automatically: a base set of weapons first, then a knife and gloves, then upgrades to pricier options. Build a cheap CS2 loadout under $50, a balanced one for $500, or a top-tier set with a Karambit Doppler and Sport Gloves.

Where to buy the skins

Every item has “Buy on DMarket” and “Buy on Avan.market” buttons. The link opens the marketplace search for that skin, with current price, wear and float. Skinset doesn't sell skins and has nothing to do with case sites: only established fixed-price marketplaces.

Popular CS2 color loadouts

Green CS2 Inventory: From Hydra Emerald to Gamma Doppler, 3 Loadouts

In a green loadout the gloves are the cheapest slot to fill, while the AK and Glock are the hardest. We break down three loadouts built around emerald gloves and Gamma Doppler.

Green CS2 Inventory: From Hydra Emerald to Gamma Doppler, 3 Loadouts

Green in CS2 works the opposite way from most colors. Usually the gloves are the most expensive and hardest-to-find part of a loadout, but here they're the cheapest slot to fill: Hydra Gloves | Emerald hit the shade almost perfectly and cost about as much as a couple of mid-range gun skins. The problem slots are different — the AK-47 and Glock, where there's almost no accurate green for reasonable money.

Let's go through three loadouts: a starter with guns only, a mid-range one with a Gamma Doppler knife, and a full one where every item matches the color.

What carries green in CS2

Gamma Doppler. The main green knife finish. It has five variants — four phases and Emerald. Emerald gives an even emerald across the whole blade, but it's a rare "gem" that costs several times more than the regular phases of the same knife, so the loadouts below use regular phases. The greenest of them is Phase 1; the others can drift into cool teal on some models. The finish only comes in Factory New and Minimal Wear, so you'll be choosing a phase, not a wear.

Emerald gloves. Hydra Gloves | Emerald, Broken Fang Gloves | Jade and Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web — three pairs with a near-perfect green match. The first two are within almost anyone's reach, the third is collector tier.

Snake theme on guns. Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike, AWP | Atheris, Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr — a lot of green skins in CS2 are drawn around snakes and scales, and their textures go well together.

Loadout under $40

Guns only, everything in Field-Tested:

  • AK-47 | Green Laminate — $13.4. Honestly, it's a compromise. The color is more swampy than emerald, but there are no other green AKs under about $10.
  • M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S — $0.4. A dinosaur in green tones that looks pricier than it is.
  • AWP | Atheris — $3.3. A snake on the body, bright and easy to read through the scope. The alternative is AWP | Green Energy for $5.5.
  • Desert Eagle | Serpent Strike — $0.3. A near-perfect color match for pocket change — the best find in this loadout.
  • USP-S | Overgrowth — $15.8. The priciest item, but also the "greenest" USP.
  • Glock-18 | Nuclear Garden — $1.5. An acid-green accent. There's no accurately green Glock at this price, so here we deliberately go for a bright accent instead of trying to hit the shade.

Total around $35. If you want to add gloves right away, Hydra Gloves | Emerald in Field-Tested cost $27.6 — with them, the loadout already looks like a proper green inventory.

Loadout under $170

We build the mid-range loadout around the most affordable Gamma Doppler knife — Shadow Daggers | Gamma Doppler (Phase 1), from $77.2. Yes, push daggers aren't for everyone, but they're the cheapest way to get a green Doppler blade. Check the listing's screenshot before buying: the amount of green in Phase 1 varies a bit from copy to copy.

And we swap the Glock right away: instead of the Nuclear Garden, take the Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler — $51.4. The pistol mirrors the knife's finish, and on the T side it's the most eye-catching combo in the inventory. The rest of the guns come from the first loadout.

Total around $165. If you don't like push daggers, you can put the same budget into gloves: Broken Fang Gloves | Jade ($61.6) instead of the knife, and use the rest to swap the USP for USP-S | Caiman ($20.6). That comes to about $150.

Knife and gloves loadout under $890

  • Bayonet | Gamma Doppler (Phase 1) — from $376. A big blade where Phase 1's green reads best, and a classic shape you see in every animation.
  • Hydra Gloves | Emerald — $27.6. No point overpaying here: these gloves match the color more accurately than pairs costing dozens of times more.
  • Desert Eagle | Emerald Jörmungandr — $352. An emerald serpent on the body, an almost exact color match with the knife. This is where the money saved on gloves goes.
  • Glock-18 | Gamma Doppler — same as the mid-range loadout.
  • AK, M4, AWP and USP — from the first loadout.

Total around $870. The knife and Deagle split the budget almost evenly and together make up about 90% of the total. If you don't need the Jörmungandr, bring back the Serpent Strike and the full loadout comes to roughly $490 with no loss of color.

What to avoid

  • Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) instead of Phase 1. In small previews, Flip Knife | Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) and M9 Bayonet | Gamma Doppler (Phase 2) look green, but on these models the phase comes out as a cool blue-green. Next to Hydra Gloves | Emerald the difference is glaring.
  • Lore knives. Bayonet | Lore and Karambit | Lore often end up in green lists because of their olive shadows, but their main color is gold. For a green loadout, it's the wrong knife.
  • Boreal Forest and Forest DDPAT knives. Paracord Knife | Boreal Forest is cheap, but it's camo, not green: next to emerald gloves it looks grey and swampy.
  • Mint gloves with a "wear trap". Moto Gloves | Cool Mint and Moto Gloves | Spearmint have a huge gap between the most battered copy and Field-Tested: Cool Mint in FT costs $934. Cheap Battle-Scarred pairs have almost lost their mint color, while decent wear costs as much as a knife. And mint isn't emerald anyway.
  • AK-47 | Fire Serpent and AK-47 | Wild Lotus "for the green." Both are collector's items, both cost a fortune, and their color match is only average. Buy them for the history, not the shade.
  • Hand Wraps | Spruce DDPAT and Specialist Gloves | Forest DDPAT. Military camo with a low match; turns the loadout khaki.

If you want to go bigger

  • M4A1-S | Welcome to the Jungle — $690. The most accurate green rifle in the game; fixes the M4's weak spot once and for all.
  • AK-47 | Hydroponic — $884. The only AK that truly nails green — which is why it costs so much.
  • Specialist Gloves | Emerald Web — $1,176. An emerald web: the same color as the Hydra, but a completely different status.
  • Karambit | Gamma Doppler (Emerald) — gem phase — several times pricier than regular phases, check the marketplace. The finishing touch for any green inventory. Marketplaces don't separate "gem" prices from regular phases, so check specific listings — it's usually many times more than Phase 1.

A parting tip

In a green loadout, save on the gloves and invest in the knife and Deagle: Hydra Gloves | Emerald match the color better than most expensive pairs anyway. All matching skins are collected on the green CS2 skins page, with separate pages for green knives and green gloves. Other colors are in the CS2 skin sets by color section.
